Fans can also use the Doha Metro’s Red Line, which stops at Lusail QNB Station, where shuttle buses transport spectators directly to the circuit. Taxis and ride-sharing services such as Uber are another flexible option, with designated drop-off and pick-up points. For those driving, parking areas are available near the circuit, though arriving early is advised to avoid congestion.

Entry to the circuit is managed through multiple gates, ensuring smooth access for spectators. The Main Grandstand and hospitality areas have dedicated entrances, while other grandstands and general admission sections have specific entry points. 

Security checks are in place at all gates, so fans should allow extra time for screening before heading to their seats. With well-organized transport and entry procedures, getting to the Qatar Grand Prix is efficient, allowing fans to focus on the excitement of the race weekend.

Rules for visitors

Like all Formula 1 events, the Qatar Grand Prix has regulations that attendees must follow. Here is a general overview of the key rules:

Permitted/recommended Items:

  • Small bags – Bags under 75 cm in all dimensions are permitted for carrying personal items.
  • Small banners and flags – Fans can bring banners or flags within the maximum size limit of 2x1.5 metres to show support for their favorite teams and drivers.
  • Personal medications – A single package with up to seven types of medication is allowed for those who require them.
  • Compact umbrellas – Umbrellas shorter than 40 cm can be brought in case of unexpected weather changes.
  • Valid ID – Spectators should bring a government-issued ID, especially if attending with children.
  • Non-disruptive electronic devices – Phones, cameras, and portable power banks are allowed, as long as they do not interfere with the event.
  • Sun protection items – Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are recommended for daytime events.

Prohibited Items:

  • Bags larger than 75 cm in any dimension – Oversized bags are not allowed for security reasons, so spectators should bring only small bags or backpacks within permitted sizes.
  • Banners exceeding dimensions of 2x1.5 metres – Large banners that may obstruct views or pose safety concerns are not permitted.
  • Fireworks – Any type of fireworks or pyrotechnics is prohibited to ensure the safety of all attendees.
  • Food and drinks (except children's provisions) – Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the venue, except for essential provisions for young children.
  • Glass containers – Glass bottles, jars, or any breakable containers are not permitted inside the circuit.
  • Laser devices – Laser pointers or similar devices that could interfere with the event or distract drivers and spectators are banned.
  • More than one package of medicines (only a single package with up to 7 types is permitted) – Spectators can carry essential medication, but only within the allowed limits.
  • Umbrellas longer than 40 cm – Large umbrellas that may obstruct views or cause inconvenience to other spectators are not allowed.

Parking

There are multiple parking areas available near the Lusail International Circuit.

Free parking is offered in a designated zone west of the circuit, but availability is limited and spots tend to fill up quickly, especially on busy race days. If you plan to drive, arriving early is recommended to secure a space and minimize delays.

The circuit is accessible via the Al Khor Coastal Road, with entry permitted through Exit 32. Follow the signs labeled "Spectators" to reach the appropriate parking area. For a smoother experience, download the LIC app and check the maps tab for parking guidance.

Traffic congestion is common after the race, so planning your exit in advance can save time. If parking at the circuit is full, an alternative option is to leave your vehicle near Lusail Metro Station (Red Line) and take the official shuttle service to the venue.

The Lusail International Circuit (LIC) is Qatar’s premier motorsport venue and has been hosting Formula 1 since 2021. Originally built for MotoGP, the track underwent upgrades to meet F1 standards, offering a fast and flowing layout that challenges both drivers and teams.

The circuit features a 5.4 km track with 16 corners, including sweeping high-speed turns and long straights that create plenty of overtaking opportunities. The night-race setting under floodlights adds to the spectacle, making the Qatar Grand Prix a visually stunning event.

Ticket prices for the F1 Qatar Grand Prix vary based on the type and quantity of tickets purchased:

  • General admission tickets are the most affordable option, providing access to an open area without reserved seating. These tickets do not include entry to the grandstands.
  • Grandstand tickets are mid-range in price, these tickets offer designated open seating with excellent views.
  • Main Grandstand tickets come with covered allocated seating on the Main Straight, offering prime views directly across from the pit garages. This central location puts you right in the heart of the circuit, ensuring an immersive Formula 1 experience.

Your ticket grants entry to the F1 Fan Village, food court, post-race concerts, and merchandise outlets. It also includes complimentary shuttle service, free parking access, and a designated taxi pick-up and drop-off zone.

We currently only offer standard three-day adult tickets (Friday to Sunday) for Formula 1 Grand Prix races.

For most ticket categories, seating is open, meaning there are no assigned seats. Upon arrival, you can choose any available spot within your chosen grandstand. 

However, if you have a Main Grandstand ticket, your seat will be assigned, and your final unique e-ticket will include detailed information about your seat location.

All tickets are digital and will be available closer to the event on Lusail tickets app closer to the event. A few weeks before the race, we will contact you with more details, including updated venue access and event information.

Tickets for the Qatar F1 Grand Prix often sell out, particularly for the most popular areas, well before the race weekend. It’s possible that all tickets will be sold out in advance. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing your tickets as early as possible
