For those driving, on-site parking is available, though arriving early is recommended to avoid delays.

Rules for visitors

At Lusail International Circuit, the event staff is dedicated to making your FIA WEC Qatar 1812 km experience as enjoyable as possible. Their goal is to assist spectators and ensure a smooth race weekend. However, to maintain safety and uphold event regulations, certain rules must be followed. Non-compliance with these guidelines may lead to denied entry, even for ticket holders.

Permitted Items:

  • Banners and flags within 2x1.5 metres – Fans can bring flags and banners of this size to support their favourite teams and drivers.
  • Compact umbrellas – Umbrellas under 40 cm are allowed for weather protection.
  • Electronic devices – Phones, cameras, and power banks are allowed, provided they do not disrupt the event.
  • Essential medication – A single package containing up to seven different types of medication is permitted.
  • Small bags – Personal bags within the 75 cm size limit are allowed.
  • Sun protection – Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor comfort.
  • Valid ID – Spectators should carry a government-issued ID, particularly if attending with children.

Prohibited Items:

  • Bags exceeding 75 cm in any dimension – Large bags are not permitted for security reasons, so spectators should bring only small bags within the allowed size.
  • Banners larger than 2x1.5 metres – Oversized banners that could obstruct views or create safety concerns are not allowed.
  • Fireworks and pyrotechnics – To ensure the safety of all attendees, any form of fireworks or pyrotechnic devices is strictly prohibited.
  • Glass containers – Items such as glass bottles, jars, or any breakable containers are not permitted within the venue.
  • Laser pointers – Devices that could interfere with the event or distract drivers and spectators are banned.
  • More than one package of medication – Up to seven types per package are allowed; excess quantities are not permitted.
  • Outside food and beverages (except for children's provisions) – Spectators are not allowed to bring their own food and drinks, except for essential supplies for young children.
  • Umbrellas longer than 40 cm – Large umbrellas that might obstruct views or inconvenience other fans are not allowed.

Free parking is available in a designated zone on the western side of the circuit, though spaces are limited and tend to fill up quickly during major events. To secure a spot and avoid delays, arriving early is highly recommended for those driving to the venue.

The circuit is accessible via the Al Khor Coastal Road, with drivers taking Exit 32 and following the "Spectators" signage to reach the designated parking areas. For a hassle-free experience, using the LIC app and checking the maps section for parking details is advised.

Traffic congestion is expected after the race, so planning an exit strategy in advance can help reduce waiting times. If circuit parking reaches capacity, an alternative option is to park at Lusail Metro Station (on the Red Line) and take the shuttle service to the venue.
