About the circuit

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a street track along the Red Sea coast that debuted in 2021. Known as one of the fastest and most challenging circuits, it measures 6.174 kilometres, making it the second-longest track on the F1 calendar. With 27 corners and an average speed exceeding 250 km/h, it is second only to Monza in terms of speed.

The circuit’s layout features long straights, fast sweeping turns, and tight sections, with multiple DRS zones to encourage overtaking. The narrow barriers and high speeds make mistakes costly, often leading to safety car interventions.

Hosting night races under floodlights with stunning coastal views, Jeddah offers a unique mix of speed and strategy, continuously evolving to enhance safety and excitement.
