Entering the circuit

Access to Misano World Circuit is primarily through Via D. Kato, 10, with additional entrances open depending on the event. Gates open at 07:00 on Friday/Saturday and 06:30 on Sunday, closing by 19:30. Visitors must leave the premises by closing time, as overnight stays inside the circuit are not allowed.

Parking within the circuit is prohibited after hours, and all vehicles must follow traffic rules to avoid obstructing circulation. Designated parking areas are available outside the venue.

Disabled individuals with 74% disability or higher can access the event for free with prior registration, and if assistance is required, one companion is also granted free entry. A valid disability certificate and identification must be presented upon arrival.

Bringing tents, glass containers, drones, animals, or any unauthorized structures is strictly forbidden. Security checks are in place at all entrances to ensure compliance with circuit regulations.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at the San Marino MotoGP, spectators should familiarize themselves with the regulations regarding permitted and restricted items before attending.

Allowed/recommend Items:

  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in limited quantities, provided they do not exceed 500 grams in weight.
  • Sun umbrellas and camping chairs are permitted in general admission areas, as long as they do not obstruct the view of other spectators.
  • Photography and videography for personal use are allowed, but professional equipment such as large cameras with lenses over 200mm, video cameras, and tripods are not permitted.
  • Identification such as an ID card or passport may be required for entry or ticket verification.

Prohibited Items:

  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside the circuit.
  • Animals are strictly prohibited within the venue.
  • Any object over 500 grams or 500 millilitres that could be thrown is not allowed. Plastic bottles are permitted, but they must remain open.
  • Bicycles, scooters, and any other personal transport devices must be left outside.
  • Cannons, flares, smoke bombs, and other pyrotechnics are banned.
  • Drones are strictly prohibited.
  • Glass, metal, or wooden containers are not allowed.
  • Sharp objects such as knives or scissors will not pass security checks.

The San Marino MotoGP at Misano is a major event for motorcycle enthusiasts, and it's no surprise that most fans arrive on two wheels. When it comes to parking, motorcycles have the advantage, with designated parking areas located relatively close to the main entrance. Car parking is situated further away, though there may be opportunities to park near the circuit.

For the best experience, follow the instructions of event organizers regarding parking locations. Arriving early is highly recommended – aim to be at the circuit by 8:00 AM to increase your chances of securing a spot within walking distance.

The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is a key stop on the MotoGP calendar, known for its technical layout and passionate Italian fans. Opened in 1972, it hosted MotoGP in the 1980s before returning in 2007 after major upgrades. The track spans 4.226 km with 16 turns and a longest straight of 530 meters. Renamed in 2012 to honour Marco Simoncelli, it has seen unforgettable moments, including Valentino Rossi’s 2008 win.
